5.11’s ATAC 8” boot features a hidden side pocket, curved YKK zipper for easy on and off capability, and 1220D Cordura nylon for durability while our lightweight ATAC 6” offers 1200D Cordura® nylon for breathability. These boots include our new Shock Mitigation System™ technology for comfort and are made with U.S.A. leather for support and an oil/slip resistant outsole for stability. 5.11 Tactical is setting a new and higher standard for tactical footwear. Imported. Men’s sizes: 6-14 regular, 7-13 wide. Black only.

Lightweight and comfortable.
No break-in period.
They look and feel good for a fair price. |

These boots are as comfortable as tennis shoes. They also don't require "breaking in". I work 10 hour shifts and had no problem getting used to them. Doesn't seem to matter what sock I wear, no complaints. |

Very comfortable. Just as comfy as tennis shoes but you get the protection of a boot. Worn in the snow and rain and mud, always kept my feet perfectly dry. Almost as fast as tennis shoes but not quite. |

It is hard to get the boots on tight. It takes a lot of energy to pull the laces hard enough. |

I have always warn with 5.11 socks so its possible the socks are very good also. |
