Made of a proprietary polymer compound called Nitrolon, the G2 is lightweight, corrosion-proof and non-conductive. A molded-in gridlock pattern allows for a sure grip in any weather, and— although three to four times brighter than a typical 2-D cell flashlight— this lightweight powerhouse is less than five inches long; making it ideal when space is at a premium and weight is an issue.
Details: • (2) 3-Volt lithium batteries • 65 lumens output for one hour • Made of non-conductive, corrosion-proof Nitrolon polymer • impact-proof Lexan lens • 4.9 inches / 4.1 ounces • flawless white beam, always in focus • Self-defense tool, bright enough to temporarily blind an opponent • Patented lock-out tailcap allows the light to be locked in the off position to prevent unintentional activation during storage or transportation • Black Only

| Pros: |
This is one of the best feeling lights one can have in one's hand. It's small, light and bright. It's also super reliable and tough. |
| Cons: |
It's time SureFire updated this fair lady. One hour runtime at 65 lumens is way beyond lackluster. It's sad, pathetic and it's a shame that one has to buy this and then mod it to get LED output. |
| Comments: |
Still a very desirable light, excellent for police and for personal protection. Hopefully, Surefire will get with the program and issue this light in a bright LED configuration without making it cost an arm and a leg.
